Very flavorful! Full of vegetables! And they don't deep fry and batter there chicken. So if your into a bit more healthy nummy food. This is your place.
FYI We did not try the sushi -

Some stiff reviews on here, I thought it was great. I got the chicken and gyoza it came out on a sizzling plate like fajitas. Really good place

I'm stumped as to how Kami only has three stars on Yelp because it was one of the best chicken teriyaki dishes that I have ever tasted. I have raved about the Seattle area's incredible chicken teriyaki to my San Diego best friend and wanted to pick out the right spot for her first experience. I was a bit hesitant because of the rating but decided to give it a try since we had to stop by Fred Meyer anyway and they share a parking lot. I'm so happy we did!
The chicken teriyaki plate is plentiful. I usually would split the meal in two but I didn't have time for leftovers on my short visit to the Northwest and I love it so much that I gorged myself and nearly cleaned my plate. I'm not a big fan of the salad so I opted for an extra scoop of rice instead. After drizzling extra teriyaki over my chicken and rice, my plate was ready to be devoured. The chicken is served on a bed of grilled onions, which I'm not a fan of the texture and don't actually eat but I will say that they did add a nice flavor to the dish. There's just something about Seattle teriyaki that you can't find in other areas of the country and I miss it so much in my new home in San Diego. If only I could get someone to open up an authentic Northwest teriyaki joint down here, I'd definitely be living in paradise. As for now, I can only hope that everyone in the Northwest realizes how lucky they are to have this delicious dish in their own backyard. -

I appreciate that this place actually serves you at your table. You don't have to order at the counter and then wait. The service was good. I Ordered the spicy tuna roll, and this is what I got. It's not bad, I actually love the amount of tuna inside. However I really did not like that it was drowning in sauce. I usually dunk my rolls in spicy mayo so I did not mind that part. The eel sauce is NOT GOOD. I really don't think a sweet sauce should be on the spicy tuna roll. I like eel sauce, but this was not good, tasted sour almost.
I would have really liked it if they didn't put the eel sauce on. -

I just moved to Lake Stevens and have been in search for a good teriyaki place. I loved that the meal was served on a hot plate. It was delicious and the service was great!
